Diesel and Truck Technology

When you're working with the power of diesel machines, you're working with the vehicles that keep the American economy moving. It's not just trucks—at Lincoln, you'll learn diesel technology that prepares you for careers working on buses, tractors and construction equipment too! Diesel engines are costly to replace—so technicians are needed to rebuild them at regular intervals. The engines are completely disassembled, cleaned, checked for worn parts, and reassembled. Diesel & Truck Technology training at Lincoln will teach you to perform this engine construction, and give you hands-on experience working on components like fuel systems, brakes, cooling mechanisms, and schematics.

As a Diesel & Truck Technician, you can also specialize in Diesel Engine service, and with time and experience you may even manage a diesel machine service center.
