Automotive Technology

Automotive Technology training takes you far beyond being a mechanic — you’ll become a technician! You won't just repair cars and trucks and perform preventive maintenance—you'll immerse yourself in the fast-changing technology found in today's driving machines. Automotive Technicians need to understand electronics and how a car's computer runs mechanical components. They stay up-to-date on alternative fuel technology, and use computer-aided diagnostic tools to ensure engine components are running properly.

With Automotive Technology training from Lincoln, you'll be ready to apply for positions such as Service Technician, Service Consultant, and with experience and time you may seek employment as a Shop Manager, Parts Specialist and more.
